Interconverting flavanone glucosides and other phenolic compounds in Lippia salviaefolia Cham. ethanol extracts

► Flavonoids and arylpropanoids are main phenolic constituents in Lippia salviaefolia. ► Four novel flavanone glycosides are interconvertible through a Wessely-Moser reaction. ► Aromadendrin and phloretin inhibit t-BOOH-induced ROS elevation in HEK-293 normal cells. ► Dihydrochalcone phloretin selectively induced apoptosis in human melanoma M14 cells.
