Isoferuloyl derivatives of five seed glucosinolates in the crucifer genus Barbarea

►Barbarea glucosinolates with 6′-isoferuloyl substituents were identified. ►Low in immature siliques and 7 day old seedlings. ►HPLC after desulfation or as intact metabolites. ►Detected in seeds of 7 Barbarea species. ►Profiles of isoferuloylated glucosinolates similar to profiles of free glucosinolates.
