Triterpenoid saponins from Piptadeniastrum africanum (Hook. f.) Brenan

- Saponin content of Piptadeniastrum africanum was investigated.
- One new and two known triterpene glycosides were isolated.
- Direct interpretation of the spectroscopic data and comparison with the literature permitted their structure elucidation.
