Cytotoxic glucosydic iridoids from Veronica americana

- Two new acylated iridoids and four known aromatic acids were isolated.
- They were isolated using bioassay-guided fractionations.
- Structures have been elucidated by 2D NMR and FABMS spectrometry.
- The iridoids showed selective activity against the human cancer cell lines HF-6 and PC-3.
