Two new antioxidant flavones from the twigs of Eriosema robustum (Fabaceae)

► The first investigation of a medicinal plant used traditionally to treat coughs. ► Two new flavonols were characterized in above ground parts. ► Antioxidant activities were lower than that of ascorbic acid. ► Structure-activity relationships were in line with other flavonoids.
