Synthesis and biological activity of vicinal diaryl-substituted 1H-imidazoles

The methods used for the synthesis of vicinal diaryl-substituted 1H-imidazole derivatives are reviewed. This report, which contains 519 references, also summarizes the biological properties of some of these heterocycles.
