Design and synthesis of novel oxa-bridged isoxazolidines and 1,3-aminoalcohols

An expedient intramolecular olefin-nitrone cycloaddition (INC) route is reported for the synthesis of a series of novel oxa-bridged isoxazolidines and 1,3-aminoalcohols starting from d-(+)-mannose-derived nitrones.
