An efficient catalyst system for diaryl ether synthesis from aryl chlorides

Aryl and heteroaryl chlorides are efficiently coupled with phenols in the presence of Pd(OAc)2 and 2-phosphino-substituted N-arylpyrroles or -indoles to give diaryl ethers.
