Analytical solutions for stimulated luminescence emission from tunneling recombination in random distributions of defects

► Analytical solutions are obtained for recently published localized tunneling model. ► Solutions are obtained for four experimental modes of luminescence excitation. ► Exact analytical form of power law is found for OSL and isothermal TL. ► Equations are tested by fitting typical experimental IRSL and TL data in feldspar. ► The dimensionless number density of acceptors is estimated from fitting the data.
