Synthesis and characterization of new oxalate ester-polymer composites for practical applications

► bis(2,4,6-Trichlorophenyl)-oxalate (TCPO) was synthesized. ► bis(2,4,5-Trichloro-6-carbobutoxiphenyl)-oxalate (TCCBPO) was synthesized. ► TCPO and TCCBPO-based composites were obtained. ► The composites light emission was evaluated versus scotopic visual sensitivity. ► The new compositions present superior performances within extensive emission time.
