Optical absorption and luminescence characteristics of Dy3+ doped Zinc Alumino Bismuth Borate glasses for lasing materials and white LEDs

► Successfully synthesized the transparent Zinc Alumino Bismuth Borate glasses. ► Measured the absorption and luminescence properties. ► Discussed the spectroscopic properties by using Judd-Ofelt analysis for ZnAlBiB glasses. ► Finally, suitability of these glasses for lasers and white LEDs has been discussed.
