Synthesis and photoluminescence study of rare earth activated phosphor Na2La2B2O7

► We use the combustion technique for synthesis of Na2La2B2O7: RE phosphor. ► Phosphor Na2La2B2O7: Eu3+ shows intense red emission under UV excitation. ► Phosphor Na2La2B2O7: Tb3+ shows intense green emission under UV excitation. ► Phosphor Na2La2B2O7: Sm3+ shows orange red emission under near UV excitation. ► Phosphors Na2La2B2O7: Ce3+ and Na2La2B2O7: Gd3+ show near UV and UVB emissions under UV excitation.
