Effect of Pt(II) complexes on cancer and normal cells compared to clinically used anticancer drugs: Cell cycle analysis, apoptosis and DNA/BSA binding study

DNA/BSA binding and cytotoxicity of new Pt(II) complexes on cancer and normal cell lines have been evaluated and found to be less toxic than the recognised platinum based anticancer drugs. Study of cancer cell death mechanism initiated by these complexes is another target concern of this present work.191
