Effect of potassium halide salts on mutual solubility of water + aromatic hydrocarbons liquid-liquid interface studied with surface and interfacial tensions

The figure depicts increasing trend of IFT with increasing C numbers in alkyl chain of toluene and ethyl benzene with increasing molality of KF. The trend infers weaker mutual solubilities with increasing hydrophobicity of benzene, toluene and ethylbenzene.
