Formation, stability and empirical relationships for the binding of Sn2Â + by O-, N- and S-donor ligands

The binding ability of various ligand classes toward Sn2 + was determined. Proposed relationships allow the estimation of the solution behavior of this cation in several biologically, environmentally and technologically relevant systems.
