Synthesis of Jatropha Curcas biodiesel and physicochemical investigation of molecular interactions in Jatropha Curcas biodiesel + C2-C3-alkanol blends

► The Jatropha biodiesel has been prepared and analyzed by gas chromatography. ► Densities and speed of sound were measured for J. biodiesel + alkanol binary blends. ► The measured VE and ΔκS values are negative over whole composition range. ► Results have been analyzed in terms of molecular interactions.
