Electrochemical investigations of lipase enzyme activity inhibition by methyl parathion pesticide: Voltammetric studies

► Candida Rugosa Lipase based electrochemical sensor was developed for the determination of methyl parathion. ► The electrochemical sensor shows 26.32 ppb of detection limit and 87.72 ppb of quantification limit. ► The method shows good selectivity and sensitivity towards electrochemical detection. ► The proposed detection method was simple, cost effective and eco-friendly.
