Thermodynamic study of the solubility of sulfapyridine in some ethanol + water mixtures

► The sulfapyridine solubility was maximal in the mixture with δmix = 30.0 MPa1/2 and minimal in pure water. ► Thermodynamic quantities of solution and mixing were obtained for sulfapyridine. ► A non-linear plot of ΔsolnH° vs. ΔsolnG° compensation is found for sulfapyridine at 303.0 K.
