Investigation on physical and electrochemical properties of three imidazolium based ionic liquids (1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium methylsulfate)

► Excellent thermal stabilities of three tested ILs developed for their useful applications ► The studied ILs show an ideal wide range of potential windows. ► These ILs are ideally suited as pollutant scavenger and electrolytes for voltammetry. ► Full database of thermophysical and electrochemical properties is given in our work. ► Some properties given here were scarcely reported by earlier works.
