Interaction between PAMAM‐NH2 G0 dendrimer and dissociated sodium chloride in aqueous solution

► The results of calorimetric titration (ITC) show that about 4 mol of NaCl was combined by PAMAM G0 dendrimer. ► Conductometric titrations indicate that the conductivity of PAMAM‐NaCl solution is lower than the reference NaCl solution. ► DFT calculations suggest that the chlorine ion is combined with terminal groups of PAMAM G0 dendrimer.
