Enhanced oxidation and detection of toxic clenbuterol on the surface of acetylene black nanoparticle-modified electrode

► AB nanoparticles-surfactant composite film was developed for clenbuterol detection. ► Oxidation signal and sensitivity of clenbuterol were greatly enhanced on AB surface. ► The method showed high sensitivity, good accuracy and promising application.
