Neutron and X-ray diffraction measurements on highly concentrated aqueous LiCl solutions

► New X-ray and neutron diffraction experiments on concentrated aqueous LiCl solutions. ► Reverse Monte Carlo modelling is shown to be able to separate some of partial radial distribution functions. ► Li-O first coordination number is about 3 in a 3 m solution, which decreases to about 1 at the solubility limit.
