Thermodynamics of ketone + amine mixtures 7. Volumetric and speed of sound data at (293.15, 298.15 and 303.15) K for 2-pentanone + aniline, + N-methylaniline, or + pyridine systems

► VmE, uE, κSE and αpE data for 2-pentanone + aromatic amine systems have been determined. ► Interactions between unlike molecules are more easily created in aniline solutions. ► Ketone-amine interactions are weakened when the size of the 2-alkanone is increased. ► Ketone-amine interactions are stronger than in 2-alkanone + DPA, + DBA, or + TEA.
