Excess molar volumes of binary mixtures of aliphatic alcohols (C1-C5) with Nitromethane over the temperature range 293.15 to 308.15Â K: Application of the ERAS model and cubic EOS

► This paper shows excess molar volumes of Nitromethane + Alkan-1-ols at various temperatures. ► We analyzed the influence of temperature and chain length of alkanols upon the excess molar volumes. ► Two models (ERAS model and cubic EOS) used to confirm experimental data and application of these models. ► Cubic EOS show lower deviations and reduced complexity in parameter comparing by the ERAS model.
