Peculiarities in the behavior of the entropy diameter for molecular liquids as the reflection of molecular rotations and the excluded volume effects

► The behavior of the entropy diameter Sd is analyzed for wide class of molecular liquids. ► We show that this characteristic is sensitive to the change of the free volume. ► The model equation of state is proposed to describe adequately the behavior of Sd. ► The fluctuational shift of the entropy diameter is demonstrated.
