Infrared spectra of rare gas-carbon disulfide complexes: He-CS2, Ne-CS2, and Ar-CS2

► Spectra of rare gas-CS2 were studied in the infrared region. ► Tunable diode lasers were used to probe the expansion gas. ► The complexes are shown to have T-shaped structures like their CO2 counterparts. ► For He-CS2 we also show results from the ν1 + ν3 region (2185 cm−1).
