Design of the Invisalign system performance
چکیده انگلیسی
Clear aligner treatment has progressed immensely since its inception and Align researchers continue to innovate to improve treatment outcomes with the Invisalign system. Innovations based on fundamental biomechanics, biomaterials and orthodontic knowledge and experience have enabled practitioners to treat highly complex cases with excellent clinical results. The ability of the system is progressing rapidly and improvements are being introduced nearly every year. This article provides insights into some of these improvements and how they provide for better control of tooth movement. SmartForce features fine-tune the force systems applied to the teeth and provide for excellent control of movement of the root with respect to the crown. A tooth, or groups of teeth, can be staged to move simultaneously resulting in short treatment times or sequentially if the treatment is complex and such movements are necessary for successful treatment. SmartTrack material is a state-of-the-art polymer and its material properties are designed specifically for the Invisalign system. This material, the proper staging of orthodontic tooth movement throughout treatment and the SmartForce features work in unison to empower practitioners to provide excellent treatment even in the most difficult of cases. It is commonly recognized that clinical experience with any orthodontic appliance is an essential component if one is to achieve excellent outcomes. Experienced practitioners have developed approaches for planning, executing and monitoring treatment and some of these learnings are shared in this article.
