Clinical Correlations and Prognostic Relevance of Tissue Angiogenic Factors in Patients with Gastric Cancer

Intratumoral levels of HGF and VEGF are an important prognostic determinant in gastric cancer. The current findings suggest that high concentrations of HGF and VEGF may induce aggressive tumour growth and metastasis.
