Thermal and chemical variations of the Nigerian Benue trough lead-zinc-barite-fluorite deposits

The thermal variations may be as a result of variations in the geothermal gradient accompanying continental rifting from one district to the other. The variations in the chemistry between the Lower Benue and the Upper Benue paragenic minerals may be as a result of the distinct lithological differences across the Benue Trough.
