Indomethacin uptake into poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-3,9-divinyl-2,4,8,10-tetraoxaspiro [5.5]-undecane) network: In vitro and in vivo controlled release study

Copolymers based on 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate with 3,9-divinyl-2,4,8,10-tetraoxaspiro [5.5]-undecane were loaded with indomethacin as model drug. The spiroacetal comonomer brought improvements upon the copolymer characteristics as network as well as from the viewpoint of the controlled release from the copolymer structure.
