Increased susceptibility of Cantagalo virus to the antiviral effect of ST-246®

► ST-246 is a potent inhibitor of Cantagalo virus replication in cell culture and in infected mice. ► Cantagalo virus has an increased susceptibility to the antiviral effect of ST-246 compared to other orthopoxviruses. ► ST-246 has a severe effect on the production of extracellular particles of Cantagalo virus. ► ST-246 prevents the formation of lesions induced by Cantagalo virus via tail scarification.
