The effects of Labisia pumila var. alata on bone markers and bone calcium in a rat model of post-menopausal osteoporosis

We have shown that the LPva was able to prevent the bone biochemical markers changes induced by ovariectomy and therefore has potential as an alternative for estrogen replacement therapy in treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
