The increase in theta/beta ratio on resting-state EEG in boys with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder is mediated by slow alpha peak frequency

►A subgroup with slow alpha peak contributes to increased theta/beta ratio in ADHD. ►EEG at rest appears not to have a clear association with cognitive performance. ►Adjust frequency bands to the individual alpha peak frequency for each participant.
