Consumer inhalation exposure to formaldehyde from the use of personal care products/cosmetics

► We measured consumer exposure to formaldehyde from the use of cosmetics under use conditions. ► Air levels of FA were very low, transient and in the range of those detected in human expired air. ► Overall, our data suggest that the human health risk is negligible.
