Comparative in vitro cytotoxicity study of silver nanoparticle on two mammalian cell lines

► This study shows comparative in vitro cytotoxicity of silver nanoparticles on skin and cervical cancerous cell lines. ► Different end points were studied to deduce the mechanism of its cytotoxicity. ► Both the cell lines show different level of sensitivity to the silver nanoparticle. ► The difference in the sensitivity can be due to the difference in their natural antioxidant levels.
