RCDA: A highly sensitive and specific alternatively spliced transcript assembly tool featuring upstream consecutive exon structures

► RCDA assembles > 23,000 transcripts from human chromosome 21 in under 4 h. ► Final transcripts include only experimentally supported exon patterns. ► User chooses the level of non-consensus splice sites and exon experimental support. ► 98% of RefSeq mRNA sequences mapping to human chromosome 21 are correctly assembled. ► RCDA provides improved results when compared with those obtained with ECgene.
