- Cellulose based sponges with 75% porosity were obtained.
- Micro-CT, WVTR, PECF retention results meet the requirements for wound dressing materials.
- Incorporation of phenolic compounds that can be released to the wound surface was achieved.
- Silver nanoparticles were incorporated for antibacterial activity.
