Polyurethane nanocomposite films containing nano-cerium oxide as UV absorber; Part 2: Structural and mechanical studies upon UV exposure

► Degradation of a polyurethane film containing nano-ceria was investigated. ► Tg of nano-ceria embedded films increased with increase in UV exposure time. ► Polyurethane and Polyurea were formed at the surface due to crosslinking reactions.
