Comparative study of biosurfactant produced by microorganisms isolated from formation water of petroleum reservoir

► Characteristics and oil recovery application of three biosurfactants were compared. ► Biosurfactant production of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was more than others using petroleum. ► Stability studies were carried out under the extreme conditions. ► Oil recovery tests showed 7.2-14.3% oil recovery using three biosurfactants.
