The association between regional arterial stiffness and diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetes

► We examine the diabetic patients without history of macrovascular complications. ► We evaluate the association between regional arterial stiffness and retinopathy. ► HfPWV, hcPWV, haPWV and baPWV are significantly associated with retinopathy. ► HfPWV might be the most reliable index in retinopathy among regional segments.
