Regulation of proliferation and differentiation of mouse tooth germ epithelial cells by distinct isoforms of p51/p63

► ΔNp51B/ΔNp63α expression was detected in tooth germ epithelial cell lines. ► Induced TAp51A/TAp63γ expression led to down-regulate ΔNp51B/ΔNp63α expression. ► It also led to down-regulation of cell proliferation. ► It also led to up-regulation of ameloblastin expression.
