Update on the distribution and phylogenetics of Biomphalaria (Gastropoda: Planorbidae) populations in Guangdong Province, China

Neotropical Biomphalaria are reported from Guangdong, China. Observations suggest B. straminea and B. kuhniana. Multiple introductions maybe occurring with maritime shipping; there is risk of imported schistosomiasis.
