Predictive role of polymerase chain reaction in the early diagnosis of congenital Trypanosoma cruzi infection

This study shows that PCR allows early diagnosis in congenital Chagas disease thus generate greater efficiency in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital T. cruzi infection.
