Evaluating the developmental toxicity of trypanocidal nitroaromatic compounds on zebrafish

This study describes a novel screening approach using zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos, to assess the toxicity of nitroaromatic prodrugs for the treatment of trypanosomiasis.
