Concurrent urinary and intestinal schistosomiasis and intestinal helminthic infections in schoolchildren in Ilobu, South-western Nigeria

► Overall, 78.3% were infected with at least one helminth species. ► Multiple infections were far more common (47%) than single parasite infections. ► Lack of toilet facilities and low income were related to multiple infections. ► Hookworm infections were associated with S. mansoni, and T. trichiura.
