Schistosoma mansoni schistosomula tegument (Smteg) immunization in absence of adjuvant induce IL-10 production by CD4+ cells and failed to protect mice against challenge infection

► BMDC Smteg stimulation leads to IL-10 production in vitro. ► Smteg immunization with no adjuvant increase CD4 + IL-10+ cells percentage in spleen. ► Smteg immunization with no adjuvant increase IL-10 production by spleen cells. ► Smteg immunization in the absence of adjuvant fail to reduce worm burden.
