Evaluation of ELISA for detection of rabies antibodies in domestic carnivores

► An ELISA for rabies antibody testing was evaluated in comparison to the standard test. ► Complete specificity and 86% agreement were obtained when comparing the two methods. ► The results suggest the use of this method for testing pets intended for international trade.
