Description of a new species of Neoechinorhynchus (Acanthocephala: Neoechinorhynchidae) a parasite of Dormitator latifrons from Southwestern Mexico based on morphological and molecular characters

► A new species of Neoechinorhynchus is described from Southwestern Mexico. ► N. mamesi n. sp. represents the second species associated with Dormitator latifrons. ► Phylogenetic analyses inferred with two genes support the erection of the new species.
