Technical and clinical outcome of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic stent shunt: Bare metal stents (BMS) versus viatorr stent-grafts (VSG)

► Twelve month mean number of TIPS revisions per patient was significantly lower in VSG. ► First TIPS revision was performed significantly later in the VSG. ► There was no significant difference of hepatic encephalopathy in both study groups.
