چکیده انگلیسی
► Decrease in SNAP25 expression in brain areas of Alzheimer's Disease in relation to elderly controls. ► SNAP25 mRNA expression alterations in brain might suggest an impairment in synaptic function. ► The changes in the auditory cortex reflected those in the hippocampus and the entorhinal cortex. ► No Alzheimer's Disease-associated differences in SNAP25 promoter DNA methylation.
